Vanessa, the founder of Glow, wanted to establish a safe space where patients could have their treatments performed by a skilled and experienced artistic injector.
Welcome to Glow
Located just off Stud Road, Rowville; Glow is a fresh and inviting space where Vanessa hopes Glow patients will feel safe and confident to have their treatment needs met.
With a dedicated nursing background spanning almost 20 years and postgraduate qualifications in mental health; Vanessa graduated from Deakin University in 2018, following the completion of her Master of Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) course.
For more than a decade now, Endorsed Nurse Practitioner Vanessa has specialised in the delivery of non-surgical injectable anti-aging treatments. These treatments are geared at refreshing, revitalising, restoring and enhancing Glow patients’ individual characteristics.
Ultimately, Vanessa hopes that her education, advanced training and clinical practice, will provide Glow patients with an amazing treatment and experience.
More recently, Vanessa has welcomed Jacquline (Jackie) Fasano and Karen Brindley to Glow. (Currently on Maternity Leave. Due to return 2023).
Despite her young years, Jackie arrives to Glow an experienced Clinical Injector and Trainer for Fresh Clinics. Jackie is responsible for safely qualifying and training new and emerging cosmetic injectors. Further, Jackie has a strong focus on natural results for her patients; respecting the patients’ individual characteristics. Jackie will give you honest advise; where consideration of your needs are paramount. This will then be followed up with Jackie’s artistic delivery of your prescribed treatment plan. So please feel free to book in with our lovely Jackie.
Having worked together in a similar capacity many years ago, Karen and Vanessa go way back. Karen’s nursing career now spanning around 30 years, has seen Karen work tirelessly in the Palliative Care, Emergency and Blood Bank arenas. During this time, Karen has trained in the niche areas of Cosmetic Injectables and Hair Retention. Somehow throughout all this, Karen has also managed to volunteer as a CFA firefighter. Patients will encounter our Glow Practice Manager Karen often, as she will deliver your pre and post treatment care or, phone you to let you know your spot has opened up on the coveted Glow waiting list. Simultaneously, Karen will oversee our PRP hair retention treatments and patients can also book in with Karen for PDO MONO threads. We hope our patients will feel cared for at Glow.
Most recently Glow has welcomed our Skin Health Guru, Esmeralda. Esmeralda has decades of skin health therapy expertise with a strong focus on meeting her patient's unique skin goals. Esmeralda augmented her skin game more recently by completing her Bachelor of Nursing Degree with honours. Although Esmeralda is busy serving the community by working in the Emergency department, she is still committed to looking after everyone at Glow.
INJECTABLE AESTHETIC SOLUTIONS
Anti-wrinkle injections improve the appearance of wrinkles by relaxing the muscle responsible for folding the surface of the skin, otherwise causing the wrinkle. The relaxed muscle looses its contraction ability, which then provides your skin with a smoother surface, preventing and reducing the forming of wrinkles.
The most common areas for Anti-Wrinkle Injections are:
- Frown lines
- Horizontal forehead
- Eye area
- Nose area
- Lower Face
- Lip lines
- Neck area
Made out of hyaluronic acid (basically a sugar gel), much the same as our own internal natural hyaluronic acid; dermal fillers act to mimic anatomical structures of the face that may need enhancement, restoration or correction. They are primarily used to shape, contour and proportion the face. Dermal Fillers are also commonly used for replacing volume on the face that occurs with ageing or weight loss.
The most common areas for Dermal Filler treatments are:
- Tear Troughs
